Lying ( sweetly ) Can you handle the truth? Would you acknowledge it if you saw it? I am going to tell you something you already know. You may have ‘forgotten’ it, but you know it’s true anyway. Lying is bad for you and the people around you. Yeah sure, it’s obvious, but that doesn’t keep you from doing it. So why would I bother to tell you about something obvious, something you already know, something bad that you keep doing anyway? Simple, lying doesn’t really work. If it worked (and you were any good at it) you would be richer, more satisfied with life, have a better job, have the dream partner you conned into marrying you, and so forth. But, that is not true for most of you. And it’s not because you are particularly bad liars. Liars are losers It’s because you haven’t figured out that lying doesn’t really work.
